		Sanjay Institute of Engineering and Management (SIEM) was set up by Brijbasi Education and Welfare Society (BEWS) in 2006. SIEM has an objective of providing quality education to the young generation in technical professions. SIEM is located on a huge campus spanning over 40 acres of land on NH#2 Chaumuhan, Mathura (U.P.). While laying down the foundation of Sanjay Institute of Engineering and Management it was visualized to create a benchmark of excellence in the field of Technical/Professional Education and produce world class technocrats/professionals with moral and ethical values. At Sanjay Institute of Engineering and Management we recognize the abilities of the students and try to help them to grow and evolve as a successful professional. In 1980s a young entrepreneur, left the confines of his village to start up his own business enterprise. Twenty years later he had a respectable company with operations in several parts of the country and core competencies in turnkey, heavy lifting projects.

In the year 2001 when approached by the local administration, Shri S K Sharma dared to invest in the non-profitable noble cause of setting up educational institutions for the good of the society in the Steel City of Durgapur, which at that time was severely suffering from the closure of several Large Scale Industries in the region. The foray of SKS Group in education started with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Shri Buddhadeb Bhattacharya himself inaugurating the flagship Institution of SKS Group, Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, Durgapur in the year 2001. Soon thereafter a full fledged English medium school in the name of SKS Public School was inaugurated by Hon’ble MP Shri Bansagopal Choudhury in the backward rural region of Mangalpur, Raniganj where there were hardly any facilities of English Primary Education available.
